Gage's 1st day of Snowboarding

Gage's school did a field trip for the entire 4th grade and took them up to Snowbasin for the day. They gave them a lesson when they first got there and then they were turned loose for the afternoon. Parents were invited to come up after their lesson, so Dan went up and spent the afternoon snowboarding with him. He had a great time and now wants to start getting all the "gear" so he can go with Dan and Haden when they go next winter.
Good job buddy! I'm so glad you had a fun day!

Haden Wrestling 2011

Haden and the Syracuse Jr. High Seahawks are just finishing up their 2010-11 season. And let me just say, I COULD NOT be prouder of my boy! It's been another rough year of wrestling for him. He was hoping to wrestle in the 132 lb. weight class, but found out the NIGHT BEFORE the first meet that the coach was moving him down a weight class to 125 lbs. He had weighed in at practice at 129, so guess what that meant??? Yep, he had to cut 4 lbs. in one night!!! So, that started 5 weeks of being on a strict diet of egg whites for breakfast, chicken breasts for dinner, and protein bars. And dressing in a "sauna suit" and running mile after mile on the treadmill to shed his water weight. And yes, he stuck to his diet up until the very end!! He would have no fluid on the day of the meets until after he weighed in and then he would down a gatorade and eat a protein bar so he would have energy to wrestle in his match.
I really hated seeing him have to do this. He was always super hungry (starving), and I felt bad when we would eat other food in front of him. I am so proud of him for being so committed after getting handed a really shitty deal.
I LOVE YOU HADEN, YOU ARE THE BOMB!!!
Against North Layton Jr High:

PIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Against Central Davis Jr.:

PIN!!!!

This was the thing I loved to see the most:
On March 17, during his match against Legacy Jr., Haden got head butted and it fractured his nose. We waited over the weekend for the swelling to go down and then I took him to see an ENT dr on Tuesday. He told us that it wouldn't need to be reset, but he wouldn't clear him to wrestle for at least 2 weeks which put him out for the season. He did try wearing a nose guard at practice the next day but it was still too painful, so he is done. But, he will still be going to North End Tournament next week to cheer on the rest of the team...GO SEAHAWKS!!!

Ultrasound Pics

Here are baby's first 2 kodak moments. The first one was taken at my new ob visit on 2/21/11.

The second was this past Wednesday on 3/23/11

8 weeks!

13 weeks!!!
I had my appt on Wednesday, Dr. Hall says everything looks great except that my placenta is at the bottom of my uterus instead of at the top, otherwise known as placenta previa. He says it's nothing to worry about right now, that they usually end up moving out of the way as the uterus gets bigger. But for now, no intercourse (sorry babe), because it could cause the placenta to separate and rupture. Then Dr Hall called on Thursday and said that after looking at both pics, my due date is looking more like Sept. 27!! He had on my chart Oct. 6, so September is definitely better! He is going to look at my next appt and see if we can tell if it's a boy or girl! Can't wait!

AnD OnE MoRe MaKeS...

..... FIVE!!!!!
Cody and I are super excited to announce that we are PREGNANT!! Well, I guess technically I am the only one who's pregnant, but WE are getting a new addition. We are very excited but nervous, surprised and overwhelmed at the same time. I am almost 10 weeks along and due around the beginning of October, just in time to make Cody miss his end of September hunting trip. :( Sorry Babe! I have been super sick this time, way more than with any of the others and it's really all I can do to get out of bed every morning, but Cody is always so good to help with my housework and he and the kids have been so patient with me. Thanks guys, I love you!
I do have to say, I have been a little surprised at how some people react when they hear you already have 4 kids and are expecting another. Things like, "Oh my hell...", "On purpose??", "You already have your hands so full!" and the list goes on and on. But then there is my sweet mom who's eyes fill with tears and says, "Oh, I'm so excited for you!" So, thankyou to those of you who are being supportive and know that even though I am so excited, you also know how overwhelmed I am and know just what to say to me to make me feel better. And those of you who are having a negative reaction, well, keep it to yourself!! We think of every new baby as a blessing and to be honest, it must've been meant to be, because it definitely wasn't planned! LOL! For those of you not on facebook, first of all, WHY are you not on facebook??? And second, I will try to keep updating as we go to dr appointments and such!

And Here we are...

I am so excited! We got family pictures taken a few weeks ago! We haven't had any taken since Cody and I's wedding which means we didn't have any with the girls in them.
I think they turned out awesome! Thanks Gina for braving the bone chilling cold to do this for us, you're a gem!

The rest of us were cropped out of this pic because we were blinking or whatever, but it's precious of my Maycie Rae!...

The only thing Syd wanted to do was play in the snow, and she was already so cold!...

My handsome boys!...

Oh, I love these faces so much!...

And I love this man so much!
