Happy Birthday "2" Tate!

My sister's little boy, Tate, turned 2 on Monday, so she had a BBQ and pool party at her house. It was Maycie's first time in a pool and she hated it! So, we stuck her in the hottub! They don't keep it hot at all cuz that's where Tate likes to be, and she totally loved that! Haden and Gage played basketball and volleyball in the pool with their cousins and had a great time! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TATER BABY!

New Babysitter for Maycie

To all my wonderful friends and family taking quick peeks at my blog...I am looking for a new babysitter for my punkin! Cody's sister is currently watching her but will not be able to take her anymore starting in August. I've never had anyone but family watch my kids, and the thought of taking her to a daycare is killing me...SO...if any of you know of any daycares that you yourself would trust enough to take your kids there, let me know! I work on Mondays from 9-5 and onThursdays from 9-6. Thanks! Smooches!

Happy 50th Mom and Dad!

My mom and dad celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 2. So, that following weekend, we had a party for them. We had it at their church, and it turned out so great! We fed dinner to about 125 of their friends and family and the food was so yummy! My sister and brother-in-law also made them a "wedding video" that turned out so awesome (Thanks, Kel and Shell!)! This party was so much work, and I didn't even do that much, but they are so worth it! I will never forget the looks on their faces when they walked into the church that night. It was gorgeous! I can't even imagine being with someone for 50 years, but my parents are more in love today than they were 50 years ago and that is such a great example to me of how I want my marriage to be! I love them so much!

Amos and Doc

So, anyone who knows us knows that we have horses and that Cody is very good about making sure the horses are rode and taken care of. Amos (the palomino), is the horse that he bought for me and the kids to ride, but he also team ropes off of him. Doc (the black one), is Maycie's. He is still a colt, but he is an awesome horse and Cody is doing an awesome job of training him. And Cody can't wait for Maycie to be old enough to ride him and eventually barrel race off of him (if she wants!).

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon on Tuesday. Our first time this year. My sister does their payroll, so she gives us all her family day tickets since her kids are older and don't have an interest in going. Haden took a friend so I didn't see him all day until it was time to go home. One of my friends went with me, so her 4 year old daughter took Maycie on a few rides. She totally loved it! She rode the whales, the tugboats, and the merry-go-round. I think her favorite was the whales...she got so mad when the ride was over!
